This year, visitors will once again be enchanted by an oversized 3D work by the well-known artist Melina Berg. Melina discovered her enthusiasm for street art at the age of five during a street painting competition in her hometown of Medebach. After her first participation in an international competition in Geldern and an invitation to the festival in Valkenburg, Netherlands, it became clear that street art was part of her life. Today, Melina focuses primarily on 3D street art (anamorphoses) that invite people to participate, marvel, and take photos. The creative atmosphere and fleeting nature of art continue to fascinate her to this day. She has been an integral part of the International Street Art Festival in Wilhelmshaven for over ten years. Visitors can therefore look forward to seeing which artwork will adorn Valoisplatz this year.
