For the eighth edition of the festival, 33 artists traveled to Wilhelmshaven. On Valoisplatz, the artist Gregor Wosik and his team, consisting of Marion Ruthard, Melina Berg, Wilfried Berg and Kerim Musanovic, who comes from Bosnia & Herzegovina, created a bridge that crossed Valoisplatz.
In addition to the competition, the supporting program offered a number of activities to get creative yourself. The hands-on activities in the creative studio invited visitors young and old to decorate postcards and posters with "Bubble Art" or to print a shirt or bag with the imprint of a Wilhelmshaven gully lid in the "Raubdruck Gullikat" ("Gullikat Print") competition.
For the first time, Gotthilf-Hagen-Platz was also part of the festival. Here, in addition to a giant mandala that visitors could color themselves, a large painting on the theme of "Protecting the Oceans" was created by the Ukrainian artist collective "M97 Project" and several graffiti objects by local artists.
The body painting models were also transformed by the artists into fabulous sea creatures that attracted everyone's attention.
