For the 6th International StreetArt Festival, 39 artists traveled to the Jade City for the street painters' competition. For the first time this year, artists from Turkey, Pakistan and Nepal were among the participants. To the delight of the organizers, two female artists from Wilhelmshaven also took part in the competition this year.
The Valoisplatz was transformed by the artist team of the "Streetpainting Pirates" consisting of Peter Westerink from the Netherlands, Juandres Vera and Dazer from Mexico, Filip Mrvejl from Croatia and Jean Marc Navello from France into the eighth world sea with numerous oversized sailing ships.
The body painting and live painting also delighted visitors.
