Children between the ages of 4 and 11 are free to choose their own motif. Whether they conjure up castles in the air out of chalk, create soap bubbles out of paint or make dream images real - the emphasis here is on individuality. From 4.30 p.m., it will also be worthwhile for the young artists to pay a visit to the stage on the Rambla. There, the little ones can look forward to a raffle of attractive vouchers and non-cash prizes for their efforts.
Young people between the ages of 12 and 17, on the other hand, will take part with their art in a competition like the StreetArt professional artists. The theme for 2023 is yet to be announced. In order to optimally promote the talents, they will be provided with professional street painting chalk. On Sunday, a jury will evaluate the artworks. The winners will be announced around 5 p.m. and can take home a high-quality pastel chalk set and a StreetArt trophy donated by the stonemasonry company Steingerecht.
Participation is free of charge for the children and young people. This can be realized not least thanks to the support of the Gerd Möller Foundation and some material sponsors. The Children & Youth StreetArt Festival is organized by the KulturGut e.V. association.
No pre-registration necessary.
