Children StreetArt Festival
Children aged four to eleven were free to choose their own motifs. Whether they conjured up castles in the air with chalk, created soap bubbles out of paint, or brought their dream images to life—individuality was the order of the day here. From 4:30 p.m., it was also worth it for the young artists to visit the stage on the Rambla. There, the little ones could take part in a raffle for attractive vouchers and prizes for their efforts
Youth StreetArt Festival
Young people between the ages of 12 and 17, on the other hand, took part in a competition with their art, just like the professional street artists. This year's motto, “Paint your story! Show your story – colorful, creative, individual,” was intended to encourage the young artists to show what makes them tick and what they are interested in. This allowed them to bring impressions from their lives to the streets in a painterly way. To help them make the most of their talents, they were given professional street chalk. On Sunday, a jury judged the artwork. The winners were announced at around 5 p.m. and took home a high-quality pastel chalk set and a StreetArt trophy donated by the master stonemasonry company Steingerecht.
Participation was free of charge for children and young people again this year. This was made possible thanks to the support of the Gerd Möller Foundation and a number of sponsors. The Children & Youth Street Art Festival was organized by the KulturGut e.V. association.
