From August 1 to 3, 2025, the Wilhelmshaven International Street Art Festival took place for the 13th time in downtown Wilhelmshaven.
In the pedestrian zone and in the NordseePassage, 31 artists from eleven countries presented their colorful and ephemeral works of art to visitors. From imaginative motifs to astonishingly realistic depictions, the entire spectrum of street painting was presented in the three categories “Copy,” “3D,” and “Free Art". This year, visitors to Valoisplatz were greeted by an oversized 3D work by artist Melina Berg, who enchanted the square with her gigantic and impressive artwork.
On the Rambla in Bahnhofstraße, the creative studio and the Street Fun Game Zone invited visitors of all ages to join in the fun. Another special highlight was the live body painting that took place here on Saturday and Sunday. For young artists, there was also the Children & Youth Street Art Festival, where children and young people had the opportunity to try their hand at creativity.
The International Street Art Festival was once again perfectly complemented this year by the Spray-WATT Graffiti Festival. Numerous graffiti artists embellished the parking garage on Peterstraße opposite the former city hall complex with their creative works.
