Maureen Kolhoff is a 29-year-old artist from the Netherlands. When she was little, she often took part in painting competitions and enjoyed being creative. Since high school, she has known that she wants to do nothing else but make art.
From 2017 to 2019, Maureen studied at the Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Art (EAFA) in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was here that Maureen learned to draw and paint using the 'classical' method and where her love of painting still life in oil began.
As well as paintings, Maureen also produces street drawings and murals. Maureen believes that the great thing about street art is that you can work on a large scale, that it is accessible art because it is created in a public space, and that you interact with people as you work. Maureen hopes to make the world a little more beautiful and colorful with her work.
