The painter Manuel Antonio González Quintero (Manuel GoQu) is an artist from Guanajuato, Gto.
Throughout his artistic career and from a very young age, he has stood out for his creative capacity in a self-taught way. It has more than 60 awards in various festivals, contests, biennials and exhibitions held in Guanajuato, Querétaro, Puebla, Aguascalientes, City of Mexico, Monterrey and Chihuahua. In addition, he has managed to exhibit his works in Spain, Iran, Colombia, Germany and Italy.
He has stood out in various painting, drawing, graffiti and sculpture competitions, which have valid first places at the state and national level, as well as in Art festivals Madonnari national and international. In 2020 he won 3rd place in the National Graffiti League, a sketch contest in Barcelona, Spain. In 2022 he stood out in the international contest "Caminos de la Libertad" of TV Azteca, obtaining 1st place in the Pintarte category and 2nd place in the Plastic category, being the only artist to win twice in the same year in different categories. In 2025 he stood out internationally by participating in some of the festivals of Madonnari most important in the world, taking 1st place in the Kopisten category at the 13º International StreetArt Festival in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, in addition to the Sanctuary award in the Semplicien category at the Incontro Nazionale dei Madonnari in Curtatone, Italy.
