Kumiko was born in Japan in 1978. In 2011 she graduated from the Accademia di BelleArti di Firenze in sculpture. In 2017, she graduated from the graduate school of the above-mentioned Accademia. She has participated in various international symposia for monumental sculpture. Some sculptures are located in Italy, Armenia and Bruges. In 2016 a sculpture was placed in the Collodi Pinocchio Park in Italy. She has been practicing street painting in Florence since 2007.
In addition to working in the historic center of Florence, she has participated in various folkloristic events throughout Italy.
At the international competition in Taurianuova (RC) she won the first prize in 2017, the People's Jury Prize in 2019 and the second prize in 2021. In 2022, at the international competition in Nicosia (EN), she won the People's Jury Prize. Kumiko has been a member of the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno since 2022.
