Laura Kietzmann is a German artist who realizes herself under the pseudonym "Pennie Culus", derived from the Latin word "penicillus" for brushes. She has always had the urge to change everything and at the age of two she decorated her father's car and at the age of four, it was the turn of the house. Since 2014 she writes a blog where she shares her pictures with the world. Friends say their pictures look like pages from a storybook, they tell a story. She is inspired by nature, which is also often a part of her paintings. With a lot of practice, she succeeds in making figures more and more plastic and backgrounds even more authentic. She works with the Japanese manga style as well as in the realistic field. Fantasy, fairy tales, the supernatural, those are the topics with which she likes to experiment. The harmonious interplay of colors fascinates and inspires them.
