Laura Kietzmann, or better known as "Pennie Culus," has always had the urge to make a difference. At the age of two she decorated her father's car, at four it was her turn to decorate the house.
The name "Pennie Culus" is derived from the Latin "penicillus," which translates to paintbrush.
In 2014, she started a blog where she shares pictures. She has also already built up a small circle of fans via Facebook.
Her images remind one of pages from a storybook. They are meant to take their viewer into a foreign world and captivate them.
Pennie Culus is inspired primarily by nature. She works mainly with watercolor, colored pencils and gouache. She presents her works online on social media, or in live streams.
Her paintings are intended to make the viewer think and contain mainly the unnatural, fantasy and fairy tales.
